A private message I wrote to someone

This is a private message I wrote to someone. She had a theory on the possibility that mass produced clothing coated with chemicals might cause mental illness to some people. I'll leave her name out of it since I don't know if she wants to be mentioned. Feel free to post comments and letting people know what you think. My email to her begins below the dotted line.

Hey just wanted to make a quick comment on your crazy ppl video. Very good points by the way. I don't think human insanity can be rooted all to 1-2 causes. I don't think the chemicals in our clothing usually leads to mental illness. If our clothing does contain dangerous chemicals, then rather it leading to insanity. I think it would be more prone to causing various cancers (which is just as bad if not worse). However, I was hearing something about how most infant clothing is coated with flame retardant and that the chemicals used are linked to neurological disorders.

Very often when i look over news articles, I'm always hearing about various cancers increasing in people. Plus, other things such as children more likely to be born with autism and various other syndrones. Right before Halloween there was a scare that chocolate candy in China may have been contaminated with a toxic chemical called melanine. It wasn't reported much in the media and there has been speculation that the reason why is b/c everyone is so focused on the presidential election. This chemical melanine had been used in milk products from overseas. It is considered dangerous to adults but even more so to children b/c their bodies are still in development. I don't remember all the complex details of it all. However, I know enough that if its true then any parent with young children could potentially have a medical nightmare on their hands. Then there's the whole thing about the FDA not screening drugs enough to make sure they're completely safe. That's a whole huge subject in its own.

But anyways yeah I see where you're coming from on this. I only think it's a matter of time where research will be able to 100% confirm that some of these increasings in cancers/syndromes are linked to mass produced (& unsafe) goods. Whenever this happens we have to seriously re-think our strategy in growing foods and manufacturing products. I'm convinced that these huge corporate manufacturers try to mass produce as much as possible with no consideration for the environment whatsoever. If they don't care about protecting the environment, then I don't really see them making an effort to ensure their foods/products are safe for people as well. Non-organic fruits/veggies has remnants of pesticides and i think that will become a big issue in the future. Lately, I've been trying to purchase more organic fruits due to some of the news articles I've read. I'm not anywhere close to being a pesticide expert but to me it seems like a gamble with my health. A gamble that I don't wanna play if i can help it.

My reply to a truther

This is a reply I made to a 9-11 Truther. Last year I posted a video disproving some of the conspiracy theories regarding the September 11th terrorist attacks. Since then I seem to get at least 10-20 hate comments a day. Sometimes they will write private messages to me and I almost always ignore them. However, I had the time and desire to respond back to this particular individual. I thought it was interesting enough to share. Enjoy!

"If you care about this country half as much as the grief your operating system gives you"

LOL... lemme guess this statement is in reference to the video I currently have featured on my channel? Well if you were smart you would've noticed that wasn't me in the video. Instead it's a video from a close friend of mine. See 9-11 truthers like yourself are already proving my point. You DO NOT look over the details carefully. If you did then you would've realized that featured video wasn't from me.

So how do you expect me to take your "evidence" seriously when you can't even notice I have someone else's video posted on my channel? Truthers tend to see and/or hear something that suits their belief system and automatically accepts it as fact. You're a very naive, biased, and irrational bunch of people.

You have no strong scientific evidence whatsoever that suggests it was a government conspiracy but yet you still cling on to these flawed beliefs. Personally your 9-11 movement kinda reminds me of religion. You're a faith based group and the reason why I'm not a truther is the exact same reason why I'm not religious.

Actually I'm gonna take it a step further and say you're a cult. Why? When I began to question the minor details of your arguments I was immediately slammed with insults. In fact, some people were crazy enough to accuse me as being a "gate keeper", "CIA agent", or a "Bush supporter". In addition, I've read where some truthers believe that Alex Jones is also a CIA operative and is spewing off lies just to derail the 9-11 truther movement. I mean my god..... when do these grandiose delusions ever end?

As far as the thing about me supporting Bush is concerned. I didn't vote for the him in the first election and I sure as hell didn't vote for him in the second one. Before we even invaded Iraq I believe approval rating to go to war was up to 85%. I'm glad to announce that I was part of that 15%.. So yeah if you people knew anything about me then you'd know that I'm not a supporter of Bush or the Republican party in the least.

In reality, the US Government would never have to plan something such as 9-11. Our shitty foreign policy does an excellent job at pissing off the rest of the world. All they would have to do is sit around and wait for someone such as Mohammed Atta to attack us. Then the neo-conservative assholes can use such an attack to their full advantage such as passing the Partiot Act, invading Iraq, Guantanamo Bay, secret wiretapping, water boarding, etc. That my friend is where the real conspiracies are located. If there has been any kind of conspiratorial behavior from the US government in the slightest. Then it has occurred AFTER 911 not before. Come to think of it I almost don't wanna call these conspiracies because these things are out there in the open and everyone knows about it.

Obviously 911 truthers are very concerned about the world's problems and want to see things change. The people who align themselves in the 9-11 truth movement have enormous potential to make positive changes in the world. However, you guys prefer to waste your time, energy, and money on unsubstantiated bullshit. The only possible benefit I see from you guys spewing this propaganda is it MIGHT put pressure on the government to disclose more info about the 9-11 investigation (especially the Pentagon). I think they would only become more forth coming just to simply further disprove your claims. Additionally, I don't think such a disclosure will reveal some kind of grand conspiracy either. For the most part all you're doing is wasting other people's time on fictional BS when we all should be focusing on things that are proven to be real issues.

If you're that concerned about 9-11 then I suggest you do you OWN research. In other words, don't blindly gulp down the garbage that con men like Alex Jones is feeding you. He doesn't give a damn about you or this country. Jones and his website Infowars.com is nothing but a very very shady business. Grossly misinformed people like you are money makers for them. Like the old saying, "a sucker is born every second".

My challenge to you is search for a demolition expert and invite him for a video taped interview. You may have to offer him a cash incentive in order for him to accept an interview especially when he discovers you're a truther. So yeah try to speak with an actual demolition expert and I'll bet he'll fill you in with loads of info on why it was NOT a controlled demolition.

Well there ya have it! Lately I haven't had much time for youtube and you're probably the first truther I've responded to in several months. LOL... do ya feel lucky? If you reply back to me then I won't respond because no more of my time will be wasted on this.

see ya

Lawsuits: Frivolous or not..... the dark forces will exploit them

There is a commonly held belief that the American legal system has been severely hampered by frivolous lawsuits. Beliefs that there are many individuals who file lawsuits in order to earn undeserved monetary awards and to intimidate others. After researching history about the legal system, I have to say that for the most part these beliefs are nothing more than mere myths.

Now am I saying that petty individuals who file frivolous lawsuits don't exist? Am I also trying to say that stories of large companies using their resources to intimidate individuals from not speaking out don't exist either? The simply answer to those questions is no. There have been indeed instances of abuse in the civil court system. The big question though is that do these cases make up the majority of court cases? The answer to that is simply no and most lawsuits being filed are legitimate. It is only a small number of people that waste their time and money on such foolishness. Unfortunately, much of these mis-perceptions of "rampant lawsuit abuse" are to be blamed by the mainstream media.

You see much of the big media outlets don't strictly work for you, me, or any other individual. For example, when you open up the newspaper what do you see inside? Do you only see just news articles, editorials, etc? No, you will notice the your newspaper is also filled with advertisements. These advertisers are a huge source of where big media gets their income. The mainstream media refuses to publish news stories that may be considered too upsetting for big business. Even when such news articles are needed they will still refuse to publish/broadcast for fear of losing AD revenue. Under these circumstances they are more than willing to create biased news stories in order to appease their sponsors no matter how much of a disservice it is for ordinary citizens.

An excellent example would be the now famous incident where a woman won a suit against McDonald's over coffee burns. When first hearing of such a story I and like many others thought such a lawsuit was bogus and should have been thrown out. Instead though she won her case and the jury awarded her $2.86 million dollars. However, after deciding to push the media's version of the story aside and look further into that situation. I learned that the McDonald's coffee lawsuit wasn't frivolous at all. At the time McDonald's was coffee at extremely unsafe temperatures. Their coffee was being served much hotter than the average cup at competing restaurants. Due to this up to 700 people had been severely burned by their McDonald's coffee prior to this lawsuit.

Additionally, many media outlets failed to mention that in the beginning, this lady only wanted McDonalds to pay only for her medical bills. Her medical expenses were around $20,000, but McDonalds refused to pay no more than $800. Now to me $20,000 in medical expenses is far less than what the jury awarded her and is considered pocket change to a billion dollar company. Also many people have no idea that the original settlement of $2.86 million dollars was reduced to less than $600,000. To conclude this story, their system of dispensing coffee was very unsafe and injured many people. So in my opinion McDonald's got exactly what they deserved. Despite these circumstances the media conveniently left out these details and portrayed this woman to be money hungry.

Another disgusting incident was where a man was inside a telephone booth and got hit by a drunk driver. The media reported that the injured man was suing the company that manufactured the phone booths & not the driver that hit him. Again, uninformed people are gonna get angry and say this person is abusing the legal system. People will say that the injured man should be suing the drunk driver that hit him and not the phone booth manufacturer. The reason why the man decided to file a lawsuit against the company was because the phone booth doors were defective. As soon as he saw the drunk driver approaching him, the door jammed and he was unable to escape. Something the media failed to mention. When you factor that tid bit of info into the equation it totally changes how you see things.

How could such vicious smear campaigns be permitted against these people? Again, I said earlier that the mainstream media is in the pocket of big corporations. These giant multi-billion dollar industries despise it whenever their products or services injures someone and are being dragged to court. So what do they do in response? They influence the mainstream media to create biased reports that work in their favor. They do this so that they can manipulate public opinion. They will pull every dirty trick in the book to generate a false hysteria that "frivolous lawsuits are rampant" and something must be done to stop it. In order to help their sponsors, the media leaves out certain details concerning legitimate lawsuits that involve large monetary rewards. Of course this in turn deceives the public. Lastly, they'll also take incidents of past lawsuits that are indeed truly frivolous and use them to their full advantage.

So you may be asking yourself why would they go to such trouble? The simple answer is they know full well that their defective products/services can eventually lead a person to be severely injured or even killed. They don't want to bare any kind of responsibility for their negligence. So they try to generate the appearance of being an "innocent victim" to someone filing suit against them. Once this has been accomplished they will begin using their mass amounts of wealth to fund lobbying organizations. These lobbying groups will then try to influence the government to enact legislation making it more difficult for people to file lawsuits. This ultimately helps these multi-billion dollar industries from facing any kind of legal responsibilities.

These new "anti frivolous lawsuit laws" have ended up re-victimizing people who did indeed have valid claims. A terrible example is in the state of Colorado, a construction worker operating a bulldozer had pushed a huge boulder off of a hill. Once the boulder was rolling downwards it went off track, headed towards the highway, and smashed into a tour bus. I don't remember the exact details but I believe many were severely injured and several people were killed. What I do remember though is one man that was injured became a vegetable and died 1-2 years after the accident. All the people who were injured filed a lawsuit so that they can be paid for their medical expenses. The person who eventually died, his medical bills alone was over $1 million dollars. Due to Colorado's tough laws against lawsuits and limiting how much a person gets in monetary awards. The court was forced to award these victims no more than $250,000??!!! You heard me only $250,000 and it was to be shared amongst a dozen victims who's medical expenses grand totaled in the millions of dollars.

So whenever you hear about an individual filing a frivolous lawsuit. Just remember that these people do nothing except enable these large industries to use their bogus lawsuits to their full advantage. They'll use it to help encourage further legislation making it even more difficult for someone to file a valid suit. They probably are not helping those entities willingly or knowingly but regardless this small minority of frivolous lawsuit filers can make this problem from bad to worse. Now am I suggesting that people who abuse the legal system are solely responsible for what's happening? No I'm not but obviously we have a corrupt system that is not very representative towards ordinary people. We have now have a government that is increasingly listening to special interest groups and they are mostly influenced by the powerful elite. So if you wanna file a lawsuit make sure you have a very strong and reasonable case!!

Freedom of expression is not Slander!

Take a good look at this American Flag people. This flag represents and respects the founding fathers of America and for what they stood for. For some strange reason, I wonder how many American citizens are ignorant on the basic meaning of freedom (speech, expression, etc). I wonder if these millions of uninformed and uninvolved Americans are partially to blame for the government's path that is contrary to what the founding fathers wanted.

I have been in many political debates with people over the years and any of whom would identify themselves as 'moderate conservatives'. However, I personally viewed them as being on the right-wing side of political ideology. During many of these debates I've had conservatives label me as a "left-wing nutcase", "Socialist", "Marxist", and etc. Now do I think these individuals I've debated with literally think I am a Marxist? Very doubtful. That is most likely their way of insulting me. Regardless of whether they were serious or not should their opinions of me be considered slander? Should I be able to file a lawsuit against them? Of course not, because they like any other American is practicing their 1st Amendment privilege.

About several weeks ago an anti-American on Youtube who goes by the user name inmendham. I call him Anti-American because he has repeatedly shown his dislike for others expressing opinions against him. Free speech is part of the United States Constitution and free speech has helped make this nation what it is today.

Several weeks ago this individual made some rather insensitive and misinformed statements about the Holocaust. At first, I tried to engage into a somewhat serious discussion with him and tried to point out some information for him to read. Me and other users got mostly nothing but hostility and he refused to look into the evidence. After a few days I realized trying to get through to him was hopeless.

On my last video (or so I thought) I wanted to conclude the debate with a funny ending. But at the same time this funny ending also had some truth to it, which I'll go into detail later. The funny ending to the video was a friend of mine created a photo shop picture and dressed him up like Adolf Hitler. Oh man.... did that picture ever stir up a controversy.

Now I've already said before that I would no longer speak about this person. But that was before he included me into his frivolous lawsuit. So now I've just broken my promise and I guess that could make me a LIAR. Go ahead people call me a liar. The big advantage though of calling me one is that you don't have to worry about me suing you.

Do I think he has a snowballs chance in hell of actually winning a lawsuit against me? No, I think his case will be thrown out and he'll be laughed out of the courtroom. However, there was something out of this situation I found a little disturbing. You see some of the people who regularly watch his youtube videos, thinks he has a right to sue over that silly photo shop picture. They think that I was literally trying to portray him as Hitler or at least trying to say he shares Nazi ideology. That is ridiculous especially after I explained in the video as to exactly the meaning behind using that photo. To anyone who thought I was trying to portray him as a literal Nazi despite the explanation is a retard of epic proportions.

Now did I expect everyone to find that picture to be humorous or in good taste? No. If somebody didn't like the picture then that's fine with me. You're entitled to your opinion & you have different taste in humor. I personally didn't really see anything wrong with using it then and still don't today.

Now finally onto the deeper meaning behind using the Hitler pic. Inmendham likes to block anyone who has left me a positive comment or rating on my videos. He will also block anyone who is subscribed to my youtube channel. In fact, months ago Inmendham was in a dispute with a person and he went out of his way to block at least 1500 people. These 1500 users were people he blocked all because they were subscribed to somebody he didn't approve of.

You see he has this black and white line of thinking, that being subscribed to someone always means that you're endorsing that person. That's not the case. I myself have been subscribed to people that I don't endorse and only did so because I thought they were a hilarious schmuck. So his idea of subscribing = endorsement is nonsense.

Many people who are subscribed to him are so afraid of being blocked that they'll do whatever it takes to not piss him off. You see this is how real life government dictators act. They will make examples out of the few dissenters and the rest fall in place. It is outright bullying and it'll only get worse if his channel doesn't get suspended. This was part of the meaning behind the usage of the hitler photo and evidently some ppl are too stupid to figure that out. His behavior is very Hitler-esque or whatever you wanna call it. He instills so much intimidation towards some of his own subscribers that they're afraid of publicly expressing their opinions.

Some people who try to defend his blanket policy of blocking say it's just merely his "personal choice". It's way more than that and people fail to take a step back to see the big picture. What he is doing is not what the spirit of the blocking system was meant for. You block those who are DIRECTLY bothering you. When you reach a high level of viewers, you don't use it as a weapon against others. You don't use it to forcefully influence who a person can or cannot watch or comment to. When someone such as him uses the blocking system in this manner then it amounts to abuse. His abuse and threats are very subtle and hidden, but nonetheless it's still the actions of an abusive control freak. Believe it or not, I'm kinda hoping inmendham will follow through on every single one of his lawsuit threats and so that way people will better understand where I'm coming from. Just remember Gary, the more illegal copyright notices and frivolous lawsuits you file. Then the message behind that Hitler image becomes more valid.

Now to go briefly off topic. From my personal experience people who are heavily involved in the 'blogging world' seem to be more informed and educated than those who aren't. The vast majority of these bloggers I've spoken with, can easily see how full of shit these lawsuits are. But then there are times when I wonder about the mainstream crowd of folks. The people who work long hours and barely make enough money to feed themselves and keep a roof over their head. The people who are unable to frequently read up on politics & current events, much less keep up with an asshole's pettiness. People who haven't educated themselves over the elaborateness of legal matters. I seriously ponder on how many of them could be manipulated into believing such garbage.

For everyone's sake, I hope the number of fools out there who truly think that satire amounts to "slander" are in the minority. Seriously if the majority of Americans are unable to differentiate between slander and free speech then this country is in big trouble. These are the people we should be worried about because mass ignorance can jeopardize an entire nation & its freedoms, way more than any outsiders could!! Here's a scary thought, if enough idiots think that satire is slander. Then before you know it, some politician might propose editing the 1st Amendment by having an asterisk placed beside it.

The sheer thought of such a thing might make a few people chuckle, but I wouldn't laugh so quickly. After all it was many modern day Americans who blindly elected one of the worst U.S. Presidents in history. Not just electing him once but twice.... I mean for crying out loud look at the USA Patriot Act and the initial backing up of such a law. Then soon afterwards most of the American public passively watched while our government initiated a war based on lies. Now there's talk about the possibility of pulling the same stunt against Iran. Another country that poses little threat to us. And all thanks to millions of uninvolved & uninformed people. Something that is contrary to what the founding fathers wanted.

I'm now going to conclude this by playing the National Anthem. This is to commemorate the upcoming Independence Day & the patriotism of this country. I ask that everyone sing a long. Well.... everyone except you Inmendham. Obviously you and other anti-Americans have no respect for the values that the founding fathers fought and died for. Without them paying their ultimate sacrifice, you Gary probably wouldn't have the luxury of publishing your 800 plus incoherent videos. So I guess you Inmendham should go enjoy something by Richard Wagner, or Lynard Skynard, or whatever type of music you listen to. Under my constitutionally protected opinion, you Inmendham are a liar, an Anti-American, frivolous, and lastly you are a litigious motherfucker!

UFOs

I posted a video about what people thought about UFOs & whether or not they believe in them. Now when most people hear the acronym UFO, the first thing that springs to mind is extra terrestrials. I asked them if they thought if it was most likely classified military aircraft, regular aircraft, alien space ships, or perhaps something else. The video was something I slapped together at the last minute and I didn't anticipate it's popularity. So far I have received at least 10 video responses and many interesting comments. Several people have told me how much they liked the video and are now watching many videos that's related to UFO's.

Weird email I received

I posted a video asking people what they thought of UFO's. Soon after the posting I got this very LONG email from this guy and his crazy beliefs. His message begins below the dotted line.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'll buzz through this as fast as I can, short n simple.

Stealth bomber was actually designed in the 50's and flying then. Yet we are told today it takes super computers to do such an act. Cell phone was patented in 1902 by stolen by military. Electric car ran for 20 yrs prior to gas car. Ford based his entire Model A on hemp for body panels, tires, fuel. But was later bought due to pressure of oil. He even makes a statement "if the American people knew who ran them, they would rebel in the the streets before sundown". And this was made in like 1922.

Military has released items from the 50's stating they had space stations in orbit then, yet we had not gone to the moon yet. Hence why we never returned to the moon, for the military took it over and used the moon landing as just a play act for average joe. Hence all the "fake moon landing", "done with strings", etc. As some of it was filmed there and some in a studio between actors and military.

Military had computers that could trace every phone call in the world in the 1940's and listen in for keywords, on a rotary dial system. Hence why they wanted digital touch pad to make the tracking easier. As well as the cell later on and the web. Then web 2.0 to allow items like MySpace, Facebook, etc as now they are more or less entering your residence, gaining all info on you yet never need a warrant. Smart huh.

UFO's have been documented by USA, German and Russia from as early as 1941. All based on Tesla's technology. And the principle is easier to fly than an airplane is. And can do all the moves, stops, hard turns and speeds that people report. This takes care of the "metal" looking UFO's that most see and observe. For these are just black military projects, top bankers, etc. Most likely they are also traveling among planets with these. As it is guesstimated that the black military is at least 100 years ahead of us now. You can get a glimpse of Web 3.0 or maybe 4.0 on one of the recent Army commercials. In the background a person touches the screen and moves items in and out like windows but its all transparent. Or what we see coming alive in the new Apple software and Window's Vista. Its not new, just old news that is finally allowed to us. What we think is modern, really is not and we live in a transistor radio age compared to them.

The glowing UFO's have been reported all through time. Even documented among Native Americans and on the Soap Stone that is dated some 20,000 yrs old. They are mentioned in about every religion or such on the planet. Most take this as "little green men from mars" type of thing due to fact of what the Media has painted them out to be. We have been conditioned to think a certain way so we don't look another way and see what we shouldn't see.

For there are other races among us, other soul bearers. These are mentioned in the bible and in Native American items among others. But most take them as myths or misunderstandings. The best well known one is the Bible and the Serpents in Genesis. This is not Satan as most assume for it never states it is Satan. But is the Serpent race that lives among us and under us. Hence God stating "make no image of that which is under the dirt". And states the Serpent shall crawl on his belly and eat dust for the rest of his days. Well UFO people state there are a Serpent alien race that lives underground, cooks humans in vats and grinds up the bones to dust and east them. Hmmmmmm.

Then we have what most know as the Grays or the Watchers. They are the "ufo" people that most assume and are the workers for the Serpents. These two groups have sold out items to governments of the world for trade of other items, like humans. In turn, man gets ufo technology on a cave man scale compared to what they are flying, the glowing balls. Just like we might give our kids a 1986 Honda where we would drive the 2008 Honda.

In my playlists, I believe NWO 2, I have multiple videos of UFO's from Russia, Germany, USA and what they looked like, how they fly, the blue prints, the patent numbers, etc. They all line up with what people see in the sky. Same w/ the Stealths and the triangle and wedge. And lately the non moving big UFO's are just military blimps that are a flat design to aid against wind sheer. Those are not even secret yet people call them UFO's.

Then after that, my playlist of Red Elk is a good listen for more info on all this. As he goes over the races among us. Some 66 videos but well worth the listen. In the multiple interview videos he mentions half blue bird and half man that lives under the Pyramids in Egypt and sing like the angels. Now look at ancient Egyptian stone work. You see men "dressed" as half blue birds. Then realize Osiris is painted green on old stone work and is called the god of the underworld. For he is a serpent king that reined on earth. Even the story of Noah mentions this for the Serpents were among us and made us evil. In turn Noah was the only clean gene line not tainted by the Serpents and why he was spared.

2012 (equals) Phoenix Cycle (equals) Pa-Hanok = House of Enoch

If we read about Enoch we realize he is 7th from Adam and is in charge of the angels. Fallen angels come into this category as well. And Enoch 108 even mentions what most call Nibiru or Planet X. For what 2012 is, is the change of an age, a cycle. From Pisces (Jesus) to Aquarius, the man with the pitcher. This is also mentioned in the bible by Jesus when he says "look for the man w/ the pitcher of water in the city entering the house (house of Enoch)".

This also lines up with the Native American prophecy of the Warriors of the Rainbow. For they will rise from the ashes of the Phoenix (age change) to bring back the Creators ways. Well this is the age of human we are entering (leaving age of animal, hence why we fight) or what some call the 7th day, the day of God's rest.

The Warriors of the Rainbow are several groups. First was the scouts, what we call the 60's hippies. And why their theme song was "age of Aquarius". Their children are the actual Warriors. For they are half hippie and half warrior and are the ones tearing down this wall of lies before us know. Their children are what are called the Crystal children and are the evolution of human for the next age, for they are the 1st generation of the next age. They are just here early is all. You can spot these kids easily due to a few factors: 1, very large eyes no matter their race, 2, they are all about love, can't comprehend hate, 3, normally have a gift of song, art, music, something that comes out of no where. Bible mentions these as well as Enoch as "the light workers that creator will summon".

And to think..... that was the fast version LOL

Grand Theft Auto 4

Here's a brief response video I made to a youtube user who calls himself JezuzFreek777. He made a video bashing the new video game Grand Theft Auto 4. I don't care if he hates the game because that is his personal right.

However, by his user name he is obviously a jesus freak and this guy thinks that video games such as GTA4 are corrupting kids and tearing the fabric of our society and blah blah blah. I think you guys already have a basic idea of some of the nonsense from JF777. Anyways enjoy the vid!

Authoritarian Management

This concerns anyone who may end up being in a management position later on in life. I've learned that over the years many people who end up doing managerial work will try to get their employees to do certain job(s) done in the quickest and most efficient methods they know how.

Unfortunately, many of them do not take their worker's personal interest and comfort into consideration. In fact, in some cases this can develop into something we all know as micro-managing which is where the boss tries to control every single aspect of how you do the work.

I had a similar situation happen to me recently but this didn't occur at the workplace. Instead, an elderly person asked me to volunteer and help him carry heavy items from his car and into the garage of his house. One of the items in his car was a white flimsy cardboard box and it was nearly overflowing with papers. Sitting on top of the box was a big glass jar filled with coins.

Since I tend to be careless and drop things easily. I decided to lay the glass jar on the floorboard and decided to carry the box of papers to the garage first. Then I would come back to retrieve the jar of coins. I was afraid that if I carried all the items at once, then the jar would roll off the box and break.

As I was carrying the box of papers towards the garage, the old guy stopped me, grabbed the box of papers, and said to go retrieve the jar of coins. As I was walking back to grab the jar of coins, I figured at this point he was taking the box of papers to the garage. Instead, he was still standing there with the box of papers in hand. As I approached him, he tried to get me to lay the jar of coins back on top of the box, which was something I didn't wanna do in the first place. I told him that I wanted to carry the items one at time, but he was insistent that I carry everything altogether. Eventually he got really irritated about it.

I was fairly pissed off about how the situation unfolded. I mean what is this guy's problem? What the fuck does he care whether I carry all the items at once or not? Additionally, I'm not being paid to do this work so he should be gracious that I agreed to help him out in the first place. Instead though this old fool is looking for smallest things to complain about.

Then it got me to thinking about something else. Managers from various workplaces tend to behave like this & sometimes it gets to the point of micro-managing. Anyone who has had a micro-manager for a boss, then you know exactly how it feels. You feel that a person like that is analyzing everything you do and if you mess up then WATCH OUT!

So to anyone who ever gets promoted to a managerial position please remember this blog. Because this crap leads to nothing except a bunch of frustrated employees who will lose respect for you. It's ironic, how these people are initially gearing for a really high rate of productivity but their authoritarian style of management does just the opposite.

To put it simply, tell the workers what needs to be done, but don't tell them exactly how to do it. Step in and give occasional guidance only if they asked for it or if they're seriously doing something wrong. Other than that let them develop their own routine of doing the job. At least that's how I strive to manage things.

Intellectual dishonesty

I really don't like it when people on message boards or any other type of website for that matter calls someone a 'hater' over the most trivial reasons. However, if someone is calling another person vile names & their statements have nothing constructive to offer. Then I would agree that the person in question is being a hater.

But if there is a person that are you simply disagreeing with and they're giving you this label. Then either 1 of 2 things going on. The easiest conclusion is that the person calling you this is just plain stupid. Or the other scenario is the person is being dishonest with you and everyone else he or she is speaking to. I think in most situations these people are being intellectually dishonest.

For example, I remember a guy who posted something that had to do with illegal drugs. After listening to him I found his points to be rather flawed, biased, and he was obviously in favor of keeping drugs illegal so I gave him negative feedback. Even though I may not have been overly respectful towards him, I did not outright attack the guy. I provided counter arguments against his points and why I think the 'War on Drugs' should be ended. I personally don't use drugs but there are people out there that are going to use drugs whether it's illegal or not. Putting severely addicted people in prison is just plain stupid because most of them are not dangerous. We need to reserve prison for people who are truly a threat to society.

So this jackass ended up labeling me as someone hating on him. What he doesn't realize is that subjects such as race, religion, or politics are going stir up a ruckus because not everyone is going to agree. If you were to talk about an explosive issue such as abortion, then expect people to either give you tremendous praise or tremendous criticism. If you can't handle the harsh criticism then I would advise you to not talk about such things, or at least not talk about them publicly.

I think misusing the word 'hater' and attempting to socially stigmatize a person all because they don't agree with you seems rather fascist and hypocritical. I think this in itself is rather hater-like to me. Does anyone else see the irony in that?

Non-profit causes

I’m sure everyone has encountered a non-profit website or a video of various sorts promoting a specific cause. For example, I just watched a collaboration video where people were promoting better care for the environment. Sometimes though I can’t help but feel that some of these activists are doing nothing but wasting their time. Now don’t get me wrong, I am a big advocate for protecting the environment, but here’s where I’m coming from on this matter.

Who is it that causes great harm to the global environment? Individuals littering aren’t the only factor to this issue. You have large companies who are improperly disposing waste by not taking adequate measures or no measures at all. And often this kind of pollution goes unchecked and unpunished.

The activists that promote better environment, definitely have their hearts in the right place and that’s great. But do they think that a few hundred people that watch their video can actually prevent this kind of large scale pollution from happening? I guess one of those anonymous watchers could be a U.S. Senator and it might encourage him or her to propose a new federal law. However, the chances of that happening are slim to none.

If you want to voice your concerns over something and become an activist then that’s fine with me. I think though that you should voice your concerns directly to the people who are capable of making the biggest difference. In other words, get in touch with various government legislators and other environmental organizations. New environmental laws can and have already made a pretty big impact on protecting the environment.

I see this type of underground and unorganized activism serving only ONE purpose. Purpose as in, people who participate will feel great about themselves for stating the problem & what the solutions should be. However, due to their failure to actively send out their message to the people and entities that can truly make a difference. Then I see it as nothing but a hollow accomplishment. Sorry if that sounds a little pessimistic but that’s how I feel about it.

Brand new blog

Okay here's my new blog. I actually set up a blogspot account a while ago but I more or less abandoned that one. I also update a blog on myspace but many of those blogs are too personal to share. Lets see how well this one works out.

Oh I also set up a twitter account for those of you that are interested.
